Last year we planted 11,600 seedlings in the ground on a critical winter range that is home to over 16,000 mule deer from 6 different hunting units. The 2022 event sold out in an hour! 


100% of the money raised from the purchase of event tickets, the onsite raffle and the exclusive Brush for Bucks merchandise will help us to continue funding this program for years to come.  


This year we are going even bigger, planting 30,000 seedlings on a different piece of winter range habitat near Mountain Home, Idaho in Unit 39. 


We have also partnered with the Mule Deer Foundation this year as our 501(c)3 which allows folks to make additional monetary tax deductible donations by writing a check made out to Mule Deer Foundation and noting “Brush for Bucks” in the memo line. This partnership will help us continue to grow the habitat initiative well into the future.

EVENT INFORMATION

WHAT THE ADMISSION TICKET INCLUDES

PLEASE NOTE: Nothing will be shipped to you with the purchase of an event ticket. You will pick up your gift bag upon arrival as you get checked into the event. 


With the purchase of a raffle ticket on our site, you will receive: 

  • Entry into the event (admission ticket)*
  • Sagebrush seedlings to plant in the field at the event
  • An exclusive Brush for Bucks Hat
  • OnX Premium Membership
  • Lunch provided by the Camp Chef (Bison Burgers)

  • 1 (one) raffle ticket for prizes at the event. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased at the event at $5/each or 5 for $20. (Cash or Card)

You can support Brush for Bucks with a monetary donation that is tax deductible this year by sending a check made payable to “Mule Deer Foundation” with “Brush for Bucks” in the memo line.

Directions coming from Boise on I-84:
Take Exit 74 at Simco Road turn left/go north 0.7 mile.  Turn Right on Desert Wind Road and travel about 6.5 miles and take the natural right onto Ditto Creek Road. Travel about 0.9 mile and turn left on Martha Ave.  Travel about 6.3 miles and turn left on Canyon Creek/Danskin Mountain Road. Travel 4.8 miles to the intersection of Foothill Rd and Danskin Mountain Road.  This is the meeting rendezvous location.

Directions coming from Mountain Home on I-84 East:
Take Exit 95 at Highway 20 and go right/north for about ¾ mile, turn left on NE Reservoir Road. Travel about 1.3 miles and turn right on NE 18th.  Travel ¾ mile and turn left on Beaman/E 39th N St.  Travel about 1.5 miles and turn right on Canyon Creek Road.  Travel 6.5 miles and stay left on Canyon Creek Road/Danskin Mountain Rd.  Travel 6 miles and arrive at the rendezvous site at Foothill Rd. and Danskin Mountain Road.

Directions coming from Sun Valley on Hwy 20:
As you are approaching Mountain Home, turn right on NE Reservoir Road. This is as you pass Mountain Home Reservoir. Travel about 1.3 miles and turn right on NE 18th.  Travel ¾ mile and turn left on Beaman/E 39th N St.  Travel about 1.5 miles and turn right on Canyon Creek Road.  Travel 6.5 miles and stay left on Canyon Creek Road/Danskin Mountain Rd.  Travel 6 miles and arrive at the rendezvous site at Foothill Rd. and Danskin Mountain Road.
