This is our 5th Annual Brush for Bucks Habitat project. The past several years with your help we have planted over 65,000 sagebrush and bitter brush seedlings on critical winter range habitat throughout various parts of Idaho. 

"100% of the money raised from the purchase of event tickets, the onsite raffle and the exclusive Brush for Bucks merchandise will help us to continue funding this program for years to come."

This year with your help and in conjunction with MDF, Idaho Fish and Game and The Bureau of Land Management we will be planting over 28,000 Sage Brush and Bitter Brush seedlings in the Soda Hills migration corridor.  

The Soda Hills migration is just one part of the Caribou mule deer herd in Southeast Idaho. The Caribou Deer were surveyed in 2022 with an estimated population of 27,000 deer. Roughly 3,500 - 5,000 of those deer winter in Unit 72, specifically on the Soda Hills. On average, Soda Hills Mule Deer migrate 22 miles between their summer and winter ranges. This project is just one piece of the puzzle to help rehabilitate the winter range in the Soda Hills.
