About Brush for Bucks This is our 5th Annual Brush For Brucks project! This year with your help and in conjunction with MDF, Idaho Fish & Game and The Bureau of Land Management we will be planting over 28,000 Sagebrush and Bitterbrush seedlings in the Soda Hills migration corridor. The Soda Hills migration is just one part of the Caribou mule deer herd in Southeast Idaho. The Caribou herd was surveyed in 2022 at an estimated 27,000 mule deer. Roughly 3,500-5,000 of those deer winter in Unit 72, specifically on the Soda Hills. On average, Soda Hills Mule Deer migrate 22 miles between their summer and winter ranges. This project is just one piece of the puzzle to help rehabilitate the winter range in the Soda Hills.
We look forward to seeing you there, Brian, Casey, Eric, Logan, Matt
