The Owyhee 1P Insert fits inside our Owyhee 1P Tent to provide full double wall coverage when bugs are an issue or if you simply prefer a traditional double wall tent. The Owyhee Insert is sized to provide a lot of space on either side of your sleeping pad for clothes and other gear, and when pitched the insert covers roughly 2/3rds of the tent, leaving the remaining 1/3rd as a vestibule for gear.

The insert features a full U-shaped zipper to make getting in and out easy, and the insert can be pitched before or after pitching the tent (fly) allowing you to get inside the tent quickly during a storm if needed before attaching the insert. 

The Owyhee Insert features our innovative quick connect design making connecting, setting up and getting the pitch right easy and fast. The Owyhee Insert is designed to be a "floating" bathtub floor, which allows for greater versatility when pitching in slightly uneven terrain. The Insert also connects via 4 lightweight sliding wire gate carabineers that clip into sewn-in cord on the inside corners of the tent.

To set up, connect the wire gate carabineers to the corners using our color-matched webbing. Once the corners are connected, stake out the 4 corners of the tent and insert the center pole inside the Insert. Then, stake out the remaining guy-out locations. Last, snug up the bathtub floor by pulling the paracord attached to the line-loc adjusters on the corners of the tent.
